School visit to the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Arinho in Castro Daire.

On 22 March, AmbiÁgua marked the World Water Day in partnership with the Municipality of Castro Daire with a study visit. The 8th grade students from the Grouping of Schools of Castro Daire spent a different day at the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Arinho where they learned about the operation of the WWTP and the different wastewater treatment processes.

The younger students were also made aware of the adoption of responsible behaviour for the prevention of waste in sewers, identifying everyday attitudes that can be changed.
